Pickles
In India no meal is complete without the customary Pickle, Chutney and Papad. This tradition is centuries old, where each household used to prepare Pickles of various fruits and vegetables for the entire year during the long summer months. The method of preparation and the ingredients used, led to a variety of pickles made from the same fruit/vegetable! Pickles can be broadly divided into the following categories:
- Hot Pickles
- Sweet Pickles
- Pachranga Pickles
- Special Pickles
- Pickles in Vinegar/ Brine
The most commonly used Fruit/vegetable in the Pickle are:
- Mango
- Lime
- Chilli
- Mixed Vegetables
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Date/ Kharek
- Brinjal
- Carrot
Chutneys on the other hand, are pastes/pulps of various fruits and/or vegetables/spices, or Dry Powders, and can be eaten separately as a condiment or can be added to any recipe to give it a new and distinct flavor and taste. Most Indian snacks are served along with chutneys.

In case of special requirements. We also undertake preparation of the Pickle/ Chutney as per Client specification.
